Consumer Reports

Consumer Reports is an expert, independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to work for a fair, just, and safe marketplace for all consumers and to empower consumers to protect themselves.

FuelEconomy.gov

This federal government website helps consumers make informed fuel economy choices when purchasing a vehicle and helps them achieve the best fuel economy possible from the cars they own. It is maintained by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy with data provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Along with online tools and calculators, their annual Fuel Economy Guide 2024 is also available to read online.

NewspaperArchive
The Lenox Library’s subscription to the Massachusetts Collection of NewspaperArchive provides Lenox Library patrons with access to historical newspapers from towns across the Commonwealth. This includes more than 20,000 issues of the various iterations of the Berkshire Eagle stretching back to 1858. Search by name, keyword or newspaper title, or browse by location, date or publication. Lenox Library patrons can also set up a free personal account with which they can save, organize and share newspaper articles and clippings.
