We’re thrilled to welcome back Dr. Sandra Marcus to offer a weekly Tech Help program to our library patrons this summer! Dr. Markus will be available to meet one-on-one with patrons who need technology assistance, including:
- Computer basics (including word processing)
- Conducting Internet searches
- Downloading and saving information
- Email basics
- Zoom basics
- FaceTime basics
- Device use and management (including iPhones, iPads, Kindles, and tablets)
- Using library resources (including Libby and Kanopy)
- Social media (including Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest)
The Tech Help program will be available from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on the following Thursdays:

Digital literacy professor and part-time Lenox resident Dr. Sandra Markus is a Professor in the Fashion Design department at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she has taught for over 25 years. She holds a doctorate in technology from Columbia University.
During the summer she hosts sewing retreats @inthecompanyofmakers in Massachusetts for makers of all ages. When not in front of a computer, you can find her stitching.
