Lenox Historical Society will sponsor a free lecture at the Lenox Library by Bernard A. Drew. In his talk, “The Brass Age of Automobiles Meets the Gilded Age of American Travel,” Drew will discuss the early Panhards, Pierce-Arrows and Packards seen in the village of Lenox in the early 1900s. Based on three business registers, Drew has culled information about the Lenox visitors and their expensive automobiles that were housed at Morse’s Garage, later Hutchinson’s Garage, in Lenox from 1903-1922. Q and A and light refreshments to follow the lecture.
