Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI) is back and excited to partner with Lenox Library as part of BUTI’s Community Engagement Program. On Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12:30 p.m., BUTI brass students will perform an interactive concert for all ages in Roche Reading Park. BUTI students are high school instrumentalists, singers, and composers ages 14 through 20 that come from all over the globe to study with faculty who hail from the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston University, and alumni of the program. Bring your family and friends (and a blanket or chair) to this free, fun event!
Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI) is a summer program for instrumentalists, singers, and composers ages 14 through 20 that participate in numerous musical opportunities. Students receive individual lessons, academic classes, masterclasses, chamber music, and performance opportunities as part of the program. With BUTI’s special relationship with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), students learn and grow through intensive programming in the presence of some of the world’s greatest music professionals and teachers. Faculty is drawn from the BSO and Boston University, as well as from the BUTI alumni community.
